Some people go into fashion because someone else inspires them. For Kenan, it was a journey of self-discovery. “When I realized I could create my own personal style, I knew I could help clients do so, too,” he says. Kenan does appreciate celebrities who keep it simple with perfect tailoring (Denzel Washington, for example). But he doesn’t want his customers to be followers – quite the opposite. Kenan makes sure men shopping with him know that they should always wear what is enjoyable to wear – and comfortable, “despite what everyone else is wearing.”
